Continuity Editing - Preliminary Task

We were given three things to include in our continuity video they were: a person walking across the room, match on action and the last one was to see two people having a conversation through a shot reverse shot. Editing the clips together was not to hard because we had included sound from the room we was filming in, however when we have edited some parts the music has skipped to total different lyrics.
To complete the first task for the video, a person walking across the room.To make it fit in with the story we decided to get the character of 'an awkward date' (Christian) to enter the room and walk towards where his date was sitting by the table.
Match on action, match on action is when one shot cuts to another shot it is done to portray continuous sense of the same action, this happens when 'the awkward date' opens the door to a room from the outside and then straight after there is a shot of him walking into the room the video flows without any glitches so it draws the attention of the viewer.
The last task given to us was to include a shot reverse shot, a shot reverse shot is when one character is shown looking at another character and then the other character is shown looking back at the first character. This happens in the video when the male says 'totally looking at my package' the camera shows him saying it then it shows the a close up of the date( the girl) with an awkward facial expression on her face.
